WALK RIGHTEOUS

Today I read some of Hara Krishna material. A relative was interested in it so I thought I had better find out more. I read part of one story. If I understood right a young couple were trying to be better disciples. A guru was explaining that when people have a materialistic mindset, they aren't interested in the things of God (or a god.) Further, that when one disciplines oneself, one becomes more "greedy" to please this god. I would have used "desiring" rather than "greedy", but the sentiment does sound more spiritual than I had previously given the Hindus credit for being.
Later I was talking to and Indian Hindi who runs a copy and package store.
She expressed dismay at the state of Christianity, said that she believes (and I agree with this) that Christian beliefs presently presented are drifted away from what God and Jesus said.
